What is Blue Tansy
Blue Tansy actually comes from a yellow-flowered Mediterranean herb native to Morocco, how does it get such a deep royal cobalt blue colour that can stain your skin when it comes a plant with bright yellow flowers?
The stunning blue colour is actually created through steam distillation when it is turned into an essential oil, it produces a chemical compound called chamazulene, which is a sesquiterpene with a deep blue hue.
How to Use Blue Tansy
Blue Tansy is a beautiful oil to use in skin care, add it to your moisturiser or cleanser to reduce blemishes and soothe the skin.
Emotionally it is the Oil of Inspired Action according to the Essential Emotions book.
