I believe there are many factors involved in creating clear skin.
To support my skin I ensure my gut is balanced, plenty of beneficial flora through food and a quality probiotic when needed, eating well with plenty of nourishing fats, quality protein, bone broth to support skin health, and fresh local fruit and veg as well as drinking lots of pure filtered water.
I also use Clary Calm to support balanced hormones and I don’t use toxic, conventional skin care products or makeup.
I use the Verage skincare collection, Salubelle blend and Purify or the HD Clear roll on for a spot treatment. These are all doTERRA, beautiful, pure, essential oil based products. Get them at wholesale prices here.
While my skin is now super clear from acne and my scarring is significantly better with the use of these of these incredible products, I was still struggling with black heads in a few areas. I have been testing out different methods to clear those up and this is by far the best treatment I have come across. It does not need to be used more than weekly and I wouldn’t recommend doing so. It absolutely leaves skin so clear, smooth and fresh without stripping natural oils and removes blackheads instantly!!!
What you need
3/4 cup raw organic sugar
1/2 cup organic jojoba oil
3 drops Helichrysum essential oil
3 drops Douglas Fir essential oil
5 drops Purify essential oil blend
Glass jar to store
Directions
Combine sugar, jojoba oil and essential oils in a glass jar
Use a tablespoon once a week and scrub in a circular motion on problem areas to clean, pre-cleansed skin. Pay particular attention to problem areas. Rinse with warm water and pat dry with a clean face towel. Hello baby smooth, blackhead free skin!!!

* Do not use before going in the sun as Purify contains citrus oils which can cause photosensitivity. Avoid direct sun exposure on the area for 12-24 hours after use. If you know you will be in the sun simply omit the Purify and use Helichrysum and Douglas Fir on their own.
